Accrowa is not a proper word, but a deviation from the Ga word 'aklowa', which translates to village.
Josh the owner of Accrowa stated that someone had already registered a business with the word aklowa as the name, and because he liked the word, he changed it to Accrowa - close in pronunciation, different in spelling.
